The Butler Group (Consultants) Inc. is a small specialized firm composed of professionally trained land use planners. Our assignments involve projects or land studies related to the use of land in both urban and rural environments. The majority of our clients are development companies, institutions, or government agencies, and the specific retainers inevitably invovle issues with respect to the complex municipal land use regulatory process. This primariy includes providing technical advice on Official Plans and zoning by-laws, obtaining planning approvals such as rezoning and Committee of Adjustment applications, mediating disputes, conducting policy studies, and providing expert testimony to the Ontario Municipal Board. Our combined experience on a wide variety of planning issues throughout Ontario, enables us to provide innovative solutions to land use conflicts or problems, and achieve maximum results.
